We have attained significant number of achievements through 2012 to 2017
The number is total of those translocated and confisticated from private owning.
The number includes degraded land inside and around the area of Gunung Leuser National Park - Leuser Ecosystem since 2008 to 2017.
Those seedlings were planted in the our restoration project sites and have restored degraded land.
Scholarship is given to university students from Aceh and North Sumatra every year since 2006.
Our patrol team works together with Gunung Leuser National Park team has been conducting patrol activity since 2013.
Working together with authorities from Law Enforcement department of National Conservation Agency since 2013 to 2017, we have taken forest criminal cases to the authorities.
We deliver trainings to communities in subject of human-orangutan conflict, organic farming, and restoration.
Yayasan Orangutan Sumatera Lestari – Orangutan Information Centre (YOSL-OIC) is dedicated to the conservation of the endemic, critically endangered Sumatran orangutans (Pongo abelii) and their forest homes. Read more
