On 15 March,  our HOCRU team has rescued a young male orangutan isolated in a farmland in Litur village, Langkat, North Sumatra. The orangutan has soon been translocated in protected forest in Sei Betung of Gunung Leuser National Park, part of the Leuser Ecosystem. The orangutan is now in the new home for the second chance of life in the wild.
